Another wonderful stay at the East Side Inn, Morris, MN. It was a great place to have my grandchildren come for visiting. It's such a comfortable and fully furnished home. Owners are great to work with and always responsive. Thanks again John & April!

Excellent location (although there really isn’t a bad location in Morris the town is very walkable), eggs and stocked pantry were an excellent touch. We used the propane grill to grill some burgers in the evening. Felt like home. Cozy and comfortable stay for graduation weekend.

We loved our recent two-night stay at the East Side Inn! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home. The house was very clean and the communication from the hosts was great. We were surprised by all the kitchen extras – make sure you check out what’s in the freezer! If you have kids, you might want to bring a ball to kick around at the park across the street. How nice to have a washer and dryer to use. With East Side Inn as our home away from home, we enjoyed the free water spray feature at Pomme de Terre Park, the UofM Horitculture Gardens, and swimming at Glacial Lakes State Park. The kids always love to stop and shop at John’s Total Entertainment. Mi Mexican was authentic and delicious! It was relaxing to sit in the provided lawn chairs at night and take in the quiet town with a view of East Side Park. In the morning it was convenient to walk two blocks to Willie's Supervalue grocery store which has a great deli and a Caribou Coffee. We felt well cared for staying here and can’t wait to return again. Thanks so much to the wonderful hosts. We loved staying here!

The East Side Inn is an adorable, well-maintained cottage. The space is welcoming, private, lovingly decorated, and spacious. The beds are very comfortable – even the twin daybed on the first floor. Guests can relax on the patio, retreat to the shed in the back yard to enjoy beverages by lantern light, or plan a picnic and playtime in the city park directly across the street. A really nice grocery store, downtown restaurants, and the Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance’s gallery of local art are just a couple of blocks away. If you want to explore farther afield, Glacial Lakes State Park is less than a 30-minute drive. I’ve stayed in other VRBOs in MN plus CO, TX, NM, and IA, and while I loved many of them, no other owners have gone to the extent that hosts John and April did to make us feel like welcome and valued guests. They have anticipated the traveler’s every need from coffee, snacks, and treats to toiletries and laundry detergent. Walking distance from the University of Minnesota Morris and downtown, East Side Inn is the perfect solution for parents visiting students, people with business on campus, extended family who would like their own space, travelers passing through, and anyone else who would like to stay in a charming vacation rental.

Beautiful home and accommodations! John and April have a cozy and inviting home away from home. They've stocked the pantry and fridge with lovely essentials like milk, butter and eggs, coffee and tea! Games to play and beautiful breakfast nook. If ever staying in Morris, this is your best option.

My family and I stayed here (4 people) last weekend, and it was glorious! The house was adorable and clean, as well as very comfortable. The communication from the hosts beforehand was clear and timely. We knew exactly what to expect, how to enter, etc...! There were so many snacks and food items left for us, we didn't know what to do with ourselves! It truly felt like a home away from home, and we are already trying to plan another trip to Morris just to stay at this beautiful inn. Congratulations to the owners, you have made a spectacular vacation rental that anyone would be lucky to stay at. Thank you, and brava!

I was super impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful amenities. I was here alone for a business trip, and though I missed my husband and fur babies, I felt very at home here. This is the first place I've stayed that had so many food, snack, and beverages available. And a small but wonderful touch - fans in the bedrooms for white noise. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to a fun visit here with the hubby!

My sister and I stayed for 9 wonderful days. Home away from home. Comfy, cozy and clean with amenities. Walking distance to store. John checked in on us first day there, to contact him if we needed anything. Really enjoyed our stay.. Hope to see you next year! Highly recommend!

The East Side Inn is amazing!! It is super cute and clean. The owner left a few snacks in the fridge, freezer and on the counter to help with odds and ends you may have forgotten or not want to purchase (ie: half gallon of milk, ketchup, breakfast bars). There was great communication from the time I booked until we checked in. The beds were very comfortable! The backyard and “shed” were perfect for hosting a small (10-12) bbq after graduation. We were so impressed with the yard games that were available. The “shed” was soo impressive and fun to use. The East Side Inn would be perfect for anyone visiting UMN Morris and wanting to hang with your student, friends and/or family. 15 out of 10 stars!!

From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and comfortable. Lots of snacks were available at no cost; frosted rolls, fresh fruits, cereal, coffee, frozen pizza and chocolate! House has everything you need including a hot tub that was put to use during a snowfall, so fun! The beds were comfortable, towels fluffy and every surface was clean. Convenient location and John even stopped over to clear sidewalks after a surprise April snow fall. We will stay again! You have to be sure to have breakfast at Don's Cafe and visit John's Total Entertainment downtown for all your sports card and other trading card needs.
